With easy access to a support specialist and online support information at hand Mind Out offers a great foundation for the LGBTQ+ community.
The Proud Trust provides a life saving and enhancing organisation that helps LGBT+ young people to empower themselves and make a positive change for themselves as an independent member of the community. They co-ordinate youth groups and national/ regional LGBT= youth networks, running events and campaign plus many more.
Memac offers works with gay and bisexual men and other other men who have sex with men to increase the range of choices available to them. They are funded and managed by Newcastle City Council and are part of the Public Health Team in the City Futures Directorate. They offer free HIV tests and STI DIY kits to increase accessibly tosexual health tools whilst remaining discrete.
Despite being based in Leeds, Mermaids offers an online support network transgender, non-binary and gender diverse children and their families.Supports young people up until their20th birthday. Their support reduces isolation and loneliness for transgender non- binary and gender-diverse children, young people and their families.
