Are you looking for your next step in marketing, with at least a year’s experience in an arts, youth or community setting? Well then, this role might be for you!
We are looking for someone who is motivated by work to improve the wellbeing and life chances of children and young people and to help to build a more inclusive, creatively engaged society.

- Work with our practitioner team to bring our live community and youth engagement programmes to life.
- Support and deliver creative marketing campaigns across social media, print, and digital channels.
- Capture and create content (blogs, vlogs, graphics, photography) that tells our story and builds audiences.
- Market and support the delivery of Youth Theatre events, showcases, and membership recruitment.
- Help plan and deliver community engagement activities and advocacy events.
- Represent Mortal Fools at events, both in person and online, building relationships with audiences, partners, and stakeholders.
- Support evaluation by gathering feedback, audience data, and stories to show our impact.
Key Information
- Role: Marketing & Engagement Officer
- Salary: £26,208 - £29,000 (depending on experience and capability)
- Contract: Employed, permanent. While the role is full-time (40 hours per week), we are open to considering candidates who wish to work on a part-time basis (3–5 days per week). Flexible working and some evening and weekend working essential.
- Start Date: Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to start early in 2026 however we understand candidates may have other commitments; therefore, we can offer a phased start (e.g., working part time/flexibly initially) and/or consider a start date before the end of March 2026.
