WEEKLY GROUPS OPEN TO YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 5-19
Take part in drama games and activities that support you to make friends, have fun, and build your confidence and skills. We create imaginative new stories, through theatre, film and audio – all working towards an exciting end of project performance! All our sessions are FREE, inclusive, and welcoming to all.
No experience necessary, and no fees (although donations are welcome!). All we ask for is a willingness to give things a go and a passion for creativity.
In September we started a new Stage 1 Youth Theatre group and we are starting our new 'Creative Sparks' mixed arts group in January!

Creative Sparks Group - starting January 2026Our new Creative Sparks mixed arts group for ages 11+ is coming to Ashington in January 2026.
Join us to explore a wide range of creative activities, including visual art, filmmaking, animation, writing, music making and more! There will be lots of opportunities to make creative works together and showcase them at our events. |

Ensemble Young CompanyAdditionally our Ensemble Young Company group meets throughout the year. This is a more intensive programme for young people aged 14- 19 to create and tour a full length play, developing their skills across the year.
Please note: this group is currently closed to new members and recruits every summertime. |
