From September 2025 to Summer 2026, Mortal Fools Youth Theatre are embarking on a hopeful new creative project, exploring who and what influences young people in Ashington today.
Since making Ashington our home since 2021, we’ve seen first hand that the town is teeming with inspiration, creativity and heritage; avenues full of stories, local legends, community spirit, and shared culture.
But influences aren’t just found in history; they are also found in the people who support us every day, the places that are special to us and the things that make us feel alive.
As Mortal Fools Youth Theatre delve into Ashington’s unique and colourful history, stay tuned as they make their mark on the present and influence Ashington’s next chapter; this project is about a story yet to be written...
