Our first ever youth theatre production, which saw 12 young people create an original play in just 5 days, using themes and characters from 'Alice in Wonderland' as their starting point. This is where Tyne Valley Youth Theatre (and later, Mortal Fools) began!

​Our second play in a week project, this time using Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” as our starting point - which went on to be the inspiration for our company name.

Our first project with a professional venue; 15 young people from TVYT joined a further 10 from around the North East region to create a play in only four days, performed at Northern Stage.
