Contributing
Everyone should be enabled to give input in a way that makes an impact.
All members of our team, our partners and our participants contribute to shaping our programmes and activities, from early design through to evaluation.
Our activities are experiential and participatory, and encourage all participants to contribute to sessions, instead of looking passively to the facilitator.
With others
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. It is almost impossible to achieve anything without the assistance of other people.
We develop our work with a range of partners, with young people and with people who know things we don't. They all inspire and teach us and together we create incredibly special and important work.
Our organisation is a group of people who care about one another, and we care about those we work with. Caring for one another builds strong relationships which, in turn, leads to being more confident, bolder and achieving more.
Growing
We champion a growth mindset as an organisation and as individuals. We believe everyone has the potential of becoming more.
We champion a high level of challenge, coupled with a high level of support. This is how we work as a team, how we work with our partners and how we work with our participants.
We are constantly looking to learn from others who know things that we don’t and we'd rather aim for the moon, and miss, than keeping digging the same old ground.
As ourselves
We are not all the same, and too often we are compelled to act as though we were. We all exert energy trying to present a particular image of ourselves, energy that could be better spent elsewhere. Being able to simply be who we are is a rare gift.
We encourage all people to be their authentic, imperfect selves, replete with strengths, vulnerabilities, emotions and needs.
We seek to work with people and organisations who also value authenticity and openness.
