Our weekly groups are open to all young people aged 7-19 (School Years 3+).
In these sessions, young people work with professional artists to develop their theatre-making and performance skills, and create their own original theatre shows for public performances or sharings. What they create is always fun, original, and stems from contemporary topics and issues, with young people's ideas at the heart.
Our projects are varied, exciting, loads of fun and suitable for all!
At MFYT, there is no experience necessary. We only have three rules (pinched from our friends at Company Three):
1. Be kind
2. Be brave
3. Be yourself

We are always excited to welcome new members, and offer everybody a free taster session to try a group out before committing to a project. We try to make sure new members can get involved as soon as possible, but there may be occasions where you need to be added to a waiting list first - for example, if the current project is about to draw to a close, or if the relevant group is at capacity.
