HUGGING DOGS
You can't touch it, taste it, see it or smell it.
But you can feel it throughout your body.
Happiness can be found right in front of you.
We just need to look harder.
An original theatre show created from scratch by students from Collingwood School in collaboration with professional theatre company, Mortal Fools. Through a collection of inter-linked stories, Hugging Dogs delves into the theme of happiness – how and where we seek it out, what it means to each of us, and whether we are spending too much time looking for it in the wrong places.
This performance is part of Future Ready, a programme developed from almost 5 years’ partnership between Mortal Fools and Collingwood School. This project uses theatre-making as a vehicle to develop confidence, aspirations and social and emotional skills of young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), to prepare them for the transition from education into adult life
