What the World Needs Now… was an online youth theatre project (April-July 2020) for children in school years 3-6 who are new or existing members of MFYT’s Stage 2 and Ovingham Middle School Groups. The project provides young people with a safe and creative space to share their thoughts, feelings and ideas, as well as an opportunity to connect with their friends.
Over the course of 11 weeks, our practitioners have been gathering content from our members through weekly online youth theatre workshops and creative at-home video tutorial tasks.
Using this content, they have created ‘a gift to the world’ in the form of a good news report.
