What to expect as a new Mortal Fools Youth Theatre member...

Curious about Mortal Fools Youth Theatre? Great! We'd love you to join!

MFYT is open to anyone aged 7–19 years. We run weekly groups, split by age - in Ashington, Tyne Valley, and online.

​There are no auditions, no drama experience necessary and no fees (although donations are welcome!). All we ask for is a willingness to give things a go, a passion for performing, and lots of curious creativity. Our projects are varied, exciting, loads of fun and suitable for all.

​We know the prospect of coming to your first session might make you feel a mix of excited, anxious, intrigued and everything in between. And that's okay! To help you get a feel of what to expect, we've created a downloadable access guide for you to read beforehand:
